We had such a wonderful visit with Grandpa and Grandma Price. We took advantage of every moment we had with them last week. We spent a lot of time exploring and driving around Phoenix.
We even made it to Prescott and a drove through a quaint mining town in Jerome.
We also ventured north of Cave Creek to Lake Bartlett. Yes, there are lakes here in the desert.
Pretty isn't it? On the way home, we saw our first rattlesnake.
It doesn't matter that it was dead run over by another vehicle. The point is we saw one!
And I don't want to run into any more-dead or alive.
The highlight of the our visit was celebrating Grandpa's 70th Birthday.
We had dinner at Roy's at the J.W. Marriott at Desert Ridge. They did a terrific job.
We simply had a blast!
Grandpa getting sweet with Grandma!
The Price Men
Gary's special birthday dessert.
Even the boys got special treatment.
Happy Birthday to an awsome Father-in-law! WE love you!!!!!!!!
Of course, Grandma spent lots of time spoiling Zach and Jason.
Every night Grandma would "cream" the boys' feet.
What a life!
And a visit with Grandma and Grandpa would not be complete without us playing UNO.
This is our favorite family pastime when we are with the Price's.
We miss you already! Thanks for a terrific visit.
